A motorcycle crash was reported in Rock Township early Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:51 p.m. at the intersection of Romaine Creek and Green Creek Drives. 26-year-old Jessica A. O’Dell was riding a 2019 Kawasaki EX650 east on Romaine Creek Road when she rear-ended a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu attempting to turn left onto Green Creek Drive. 23-year-old Shi Anne S. Stranger, the driver of the Chevy, was not hurt, while O’Dell was thrown off her motorcycle and sustained significant injuries. She was taken to Mercy Hospital South for treatment. Both motorists were wearing the appropriate safety equipment at the time of the collision. Authorities are investigating the incident and will release more info in due time.
