PLATTE COUNTY, MO — A 61-year-old Weston man was killed early Monday morning when he was struck by a car along the shoulder of MO-273 in Platte County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 2002 Chevrolet truck traveling southbound struck the man while he was nearby a parked vehicle on MO-273 at around 8:54 a.m.
It is unclear whether or not the parked vehicle, a 2019 Ram truck, belonged to the man.
The victim was pronounced dead on scene.
No other information has been reported.
