ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO — A 24-year-old woman was seriously injured Thursday night when she lost control of her motorcycle on Highway P near Wentzville in St. Charles County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on a stretch of Highway P at Flint Hill Drive and was reported at 10:50 p.m.
The young woman was riding a 2006 Suzuki GSX600 westbound on the highway when she failed to maintain control over the vehicle, causing it to travel off the right edge of the roadway, overturn and hit a retaining wall, ejecting the rider.
The woman, a resident of Moscow Mills, was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis where her condition is undisclosed.
No further information has been reported about a possible cause of crash.
