PACIFIC, MO (FRANKLIN COUNTY) – A man and a 14-year-old boy were seriously injured in an accident involving a motorcycle and a minibike in Franklin County this morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 10:48 a.m. in Pacific, at 1861 Opeechee Beach Road, near the banks of the Meramec River.
A 14-year-old boy from Pacific, operating a 2008 Kawasaki KX100 motorcycle, was reportedly driving on the wrong side of the roadway when he sideswiped a 2020 Massimo MB2 minibike.
The boy and the operator of the minibike, 29-year-old Pacific resident Jesse C. Livell, were taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
The boy was wearing a helmet, while Livell was reportedly not.
