Several motorists, including minors, were injured in a highway crash in Joplin Friday evening.
The accident occurred in the vicinity of the Prosperity Road curve and East Zora Street. At around 8:00 p.m., a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer crashed and rolled over in the area, injuring all occupants. 30-year-old Krista Moss of Carthage was driving the vehicle. She and four minors, all under ten years old, were transported to Freeman West for treatment of multiple, undisclosed injuries. Initial reports suggest the truck veered off the roadway and hit an embankment, forcing it to roll over. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
