Firefighters at scene of accident at Route 3 and Southwoods Dr

COLUMBIA, IL – According to Republic-Times, first responders reported to a two-vehicle collision at Route 3 and Southwoods Dr Wednesday morning.

Harriet Grove, 91, was driving a Chevrolet Malibu as she was attempting to turn onto northbound Route 3 from the MotoMart located on Southwoods Drive. Grove then she pulled out in front of a Hyundai Elantra operated by Kara Bordeaux, 34.

First responders transported both drivers to area hospitals following the crash. Their current condition is unclear at this time.
