Elderly man injured in boat accident on Bull Shores Lake

OZARK CO., MO – An elderly man from St. Louis was injured in a two-boat collision on the Spring Creek arm of Bull Shores Lake on Monday, KTLO reports.

A boat operated by 49-year-old Michael Bye collided with the back of a vessel piloted by 87-year-old Richard Stephens at 8:15 p.m. yesterday evening. Emergency responders treated Stephens at the scene, then transported him to Baxter Regional Medical Center. His injuries are believed to be minor.

Bye was unhurt in the collision. Neither boat was seriously damaged.
