Arnold man seriously injured in Jefferson County head-on collision

JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO – A man from Arnold was hospitalized after a head-on collision on Route M Wednesday evening.

According to the official crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in the westbound lane of Route M at the intersection with Metropolitan Boulevard at 7:42 p.m.

Troopers at the scene say the 50-year-old female driver of a 1991 Ford F-150 failed to yield to the right of way of a 2015 Ford Fusion driven by 55-year-old Scott Hasty. The two vehicles collided head-on in the intersection.

Hasty was rushed to Mercy Hospital South in serious condition following the crash.
