Arnold man hurt after pickup hits guardrail in Mehlville

MEHLVILLE, MO (ST. LOUIS COUNTY) – An Arnold man was injured yesterday afternoon in a single-vehicle collision in Mehlville, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at the interchange between I-55 northbound and I-270 at 4:38 p.m. when 31-year-old Bryan C. Maffett, driving a 2004 Ford F150, went off the side of the highway and collided with a guardrail.

Maffett was taken to Mercy Hospital South for the treatment of moderate injuries. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt when the accident occurred.

No other injuries were reported in the collision.

The pickup truck was totaled in the crash.
