Affton man seriously hurt after MO-30 motorcycle accident

MURPHY, MO (JEFFERSON COUNTY) – A motorcyclist from Affton was seriously hurt in Jefferson County after he attempted to pass another vehicle Sunday evening, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at the intersection of Missouri Highway 30 and Little Brennan Road around 5:25 p.m. when victim Paul G. Minor, 37, operating a 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail, attempted to pass another vehicle.

The Harley-Davidson collided with the vehicle, a 2013 GMC Acadia driven by Hazelwood woman Patricia E. Archer, 50.

Minor was taken to Mercy Hospital South for the treatment of serious injuries. He was reportedly not wearing a helmet when the crash happened.

Archer was not reported as injured.
