ST. LOUIS, MO – Rush-hour commuters on I-270 faced significant delays following an accident Tuesday evening.
According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the incident occurred just before 4:40 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-270 near Tesson Ferry Road.

Details regarding any injuries sustained in the crash have not yet been released. However, motorists were advised to avoid the area as traffic had come to a halt immediately following the collision.
