Accident shuts down 2 lanes near I-170

ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol were forced to shut down two lanes along I-70 following a late morning crash Wednesday.

According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the accident was reported in the eastbound lanes of I-70 at the I-170 interchange at about 10:22.

No injuries were reported as an immediate result of the crash. However, the right two lanes were closed down for about 45 minutes causing delays for commuters attempting to get to I-170 from I-70.
