Accident reported on Missouri River Bridge

ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials in Northwest St. Louis were forced to close one lane on I-70 following a late-night crash Wednesday.

According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-70 at the Missouri River overpass at about 10:50 a.m.

No injuries were reported as an immediate result of the crash. However, the centerline of the interstate was closed for about an hour while the wreckage was assessed and cleared from the roadway.
