ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol are reporting several lane closures due to an accident on I-270 Friday night.
According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-270 just past the I-44 on-ramp at about 9:16 p.m.

Authorities are advising motorists to find an alternate route around this portion of I-270 as at least three lanes have been closed down in response to the incident.
