ST. LOUIS, MO – Commuters in Southeast St. Louis were forced to close multiple lanes on I-55 following a Monday morning collision.
According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the accident happened at about 8:10 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-55 near the exit to Arsenal Street.

Officials have not reported any injuries as an immediate result of the crash. However, the left lanes were blocked for about an hour causing significant delays for rush-hour commuters into St. Louis.
