Accident closes lane on I-70 eastbound near St. Charles

ST. CHARLES, MO — A collision Wednesday morning shut down the right lane on Interstate 70 eastbound near St. Charles, according to MoDOT STL Traffic.


The accident happened before Zumbehl Road and was reported at 7:41 a.m. The lane would remain closed for at least three hours.

MoDOT STL initially projected the crash would clear at 9:08 a.m., but later updated a new clearance time for 11:23 a.m.


No other information has been reported about the incident.
