Accident closes lane in northeast St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO – Officials were forced to shut down at least one lane along I-270 following a Tuesday night accident.
According to the official Twitter page of the Missouri Department of Transportation, the incident occurred shortly before 8:15 p.m. within the westbound lanes of I-270 near New Florissant Road.

No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the collision. However, the right lane is expected to be closed for at least one hour so the crash can be removed from the roadway.
