Nathan earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from the University of Denver in 2005, where he also served as captain of the men’s swimming team. In 2008, graduated from the St. Louis University School of Law.
Nathan worked as a state prosecutor for four years in Johnson County and then spent ten years in Greene County, primarily focusing on prosecuting cases of child abuse, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. During his time in Greene County, he supervised the Special Victims Unit. In 2020, Nathan received two prestigious awards: the Missouri Bar Lon O. Hocker Award for Trial Advocacy and the Missouri Association of Prosecuting Attorneys’ Special Victims Hero of the Year.
Before joining the Survivors team, Nathan served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Eastern District of Missouri for three years, where he worked in the Project Safe Childhood unit prosecuting cases of child exploitation. Nathan lives in Illinois with his wife, Dedra, and their two children.
