Nancy has been a life-long resident of St. Louis. She attended the University of Missouri-St. Louis and graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an emphasis in finance. After graduating from the University of Missouri, she attended Saint Louis University School of Law, where she earned her law degree and developed a passion for personal injury and civil practice.
After graduating from law school, Nancy joined a small insurance defense firm specializing in the defense of medical malpractice cases. She gained invaluable experience as a young associate, including writing and assisting with the appeals in the case of Asaro v. Cardinal Glennon Memorial Hospital, et. al. The case was argued before the Missouri Supreme Court as a case of first impression and established the “Zone of Danger” test for emotional distress damages.
Shortly thereafter, Nancy joined a nationally recognized and highly regarded law firm, which specialized in personal injury defense based on medical negligence. Through this affiliation, she was afforded several career-expanding opportunities, including the ability to discuss medical theories with both locally and world-renowned medical experts. She also developed and mastered a variety of legal skills due to the firm allowing her to co-chair several jury trials and serve as solo litigator. Nancy obtained several defense verdicts, including those where opposing counsel requested significant, six-figure amounts. She also had the distinction, at the age of 30, of being one of the youngest female attorneys to successfully try and defend a medical malpractice lawsuit in the state of Missouri.
Nancy has been involved in numerous mediations, and she takes pride in having personally effectuated settlements on many claims and cases in which there was an impasse. Through these experiences, she has developed expertise in case evaluation, and has been able to successfully argue such figures on behalf of her clients.
Nancy joined OnderLaw, LLC in order to lend her expertise to representing individuals. Her practice focuses on personal injury and products liability, including mass tort litigation. She is licensed to practice in the state of Missouri and is a member of the Missouri Bar. In the past, she has chaired and co-chaired several activities in her children’s school community and with the City of Webster Groves.
