9-year-old girl, 46-year-old woman injured in St. Francois County crash

VALLES MINES, MO – A 9-year-old girl and 46-year-old woman were injured in a crash on westbound Highway Y on Tuesday night.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, a semi driven by Nolan R. Boeving, 20, and a 2011 GMC Acadia driven by Lori L. Stricker, 46, were traveling westbound on Highway Y east of Moll Drive. The GMC went through a curve and slowed down to a stop when the semi came around the curve and rear-ended the GMC.

Stricker and the 9-year-old girl were transported to Parkland Health Center North – Bonne Terre for minor injuries.

The GMC was totaled and the semi sustained minor damages.
