86-year-old man injured in Franklin County car accident

SAINT CLAIR, MO – An 86-year-old Londell man was injured in a single-vehicle accident on Peacock Road last Friday morning.

Joseph C. Zieroff was traveling east on Peacock Road in a 2000 Toyota Camry when it traveled off the right side of the road, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol. Zieroff over-corrected causing the Toyota to hit a ditch. The accident happened east of Robin Hill Lane around 11:50 a.m.

Zieroff was transported to Mercy Hospital Washington for minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.

The Toyota sustained moderate damages.
