73-year-old man injured in Gravois Rd rollover accident

HOUSE SPRINGS, MO (JEFFERSON COUNTY) – A 73-year-old man was injured Sunday afternoon in a rollover accident in Jefferson County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at 2:05 p.m. at Gravois Road, near Terrace Drive and Highway 30, when a 2020 Chevrolet Blazer drove off the side of the road.

The Blazer, driven by 73-year-old House Springs man Warren E. Hohmeier, then collided with a stone embankment and flipped over.

Hohmeier was taken to Mercy Hospital South for treatment of moderate injuries. He is listed as having been wearing his seatbelt when the crash happened.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.

The Blazer was totaled in the crash.
