7-year-old boy, 3 adults injured in head-on collision in Warren County

WRIGHT CITY, MO (WARREN COUNTY) – Four people, including a 7-year-old boy, were injured last night in Warren County in a head-on collision on Route F.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 9:15 p.m. on Route F, near Quail Hunters Drive when a 2010 Hyundai Touring, operated by 23-year-old St. Peters woman Natasha R. Ashby, crossed over the center line and into the left lane. It then collided with the front end of a 2008 Chevrolet Impala driven by Amanda M. Adams, 27, of Truesdale.

A passenger in the Impala, a 7-year-old, was taken to St. Joseph Hospital at Lake St. Louis with minor injuries. The child was restrained in a safety harness when the crash happened.

Two other occupants of the Impala, Adams and a passenger, Wright City man Travis L. Adams, 32, were also taken to St. Joseph’s, both with moderate wounds. They both were not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Ashby was released at the scene after being treated for minor injuries. She was wearing her seatbelt.

It is unknown at this time if intoxication played a part in the collision.

Both vehicles were totaled in the accident.
