61-year-old Robertsville woman injured in Highway YY crash

JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO – A 61-year-old Robertsville woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Highway YY on Friday morning.

Police report Ruby G. Abel was traveling north on Highway YY in a 2012 Buick Enclave when it traveled off the right side of the road. The vehicle hit an embankment south of State Route WW around 8:03 a.m.

Abel was transported to Mercy Hospital South for moderate injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt.

The Buick sustained moderate damages.
