53-year-old pedestrian seriously injured in Franklin County crash

PACIFIC, MO – Robert Apperson, 53, was seriously injured when he was struck by someone driving a piece of construction equipment at 1559 Highway 100 on Monday afternoon.

Police report 37-year-old Ryan Terbrock was backing up a 2014 Bobcat T650 when he failed to see a pedestrian behind him. He struck Apperson around 12 p.m.

Apperson was airlifted to Mercy St. Louis.
