46-year-old St. Louis woman injured in three-vehicle crash

ST. LOUIS, MO – A 46-year-old St. Louis woman was injured in a three-vehicle crash on southbound I-170 early Tuesday morning.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Romeo Sanchez Juarez, 38, was traveling south on I-170 in a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado when he lost control of the vehicle. The Chevrolet spun and hit the median. Latrice Anderson was traveling south on I-170 in a 2020 Kia Forte and failed to avoid rear-ending the Chevrolet. Scott Purcell, 41, was also traveling south on I-170 in a 2017 Toyota Highlander and failed to stop causing the Toyota to rear-end the Kia.

Anderson was transported to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for minor injuries.

All drivers were wearing seat belts.

Both the Chevrolet and Toyota sustained minor injuries. The Kia sustained moderate injuries.
