44-year-old driver injured after car overturns three times

ST. PETERS, MO – Nasser Fawwaqa, 44, sustained minor injuries after his 2012 Nissan Rogue struck another vehicle than overturned three times on westbound I-70 on Thursday afternoon.

Police report the crash occurred on westbound I-70 east of Mid Rivers Mall Road around 3:10 p.m. Fawwaqa rear-ended a 1997 Ford Explorer when changing lanes on the interstate. He was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital St. Charles.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
