40-year-old driver sustains serious injuries in U.S. 67 crash

BONNE TERRE, MO – A 40-year-old driver sustained serious injuries after crashing into a tree on southbound U.S. 67 on Saturday night.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Bradley L. Owen, of Sikeston, was traveling southbound on U.S. 67 when his 2003 Ford Mustang slid off the road. The Ford hit a tree south of Cash Lane around 7:55 p.m.
Owen was transported to Mercy Hospital South. He was not wearing a seat belt.
The Ford was totaled.
