LAKE ST. LOUIS, MO – A 39-year-old passenger from St. Louis was injured in a rear-end collision on eastbound I-70 on Monday night.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, 69-year-old Larry W. Parr was traveling east on I-70 in a 1995 Ford F-250. He rear-ended a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 33-year-old Slocelo Garcia Santiago. Both vehicles traveled off the left side of the interstate and hit a concrete median barrier. The accident happened east of Lake St. Louis Boulevard around 5:05 p.m.
A female passenger in the Chevrolet was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis for minor injuries. She and both drivers were wearing seat belts.
Both vehicles were totaled.
