34-year-old driver sustains injuries in St. Francois County crash

BONNE TERRE, MO – A 34-year-old Bonne Terre driver sustained injuries in a single-vehicle crash on House Road on Thursday night.

Police report Brittany C. Butcher was traveling west on House Road when she failed to negotiate a curve properly and lost control of her 2001 Dodge Durango. The Dodge traveled off the left side of the road, hit a utility pole, and two road signs. Police report the accident happened west of Highway 47 around 10:30 p.m.

Butcher was treated for minor injuries at Parkland Health Center – North in Bonne Terre. She was not wearing a seat belt.

The Dodge was totaled.
