31-year-old man ejected, injured in Potosi motorcycle crash

POTOSI, MO (WASHINGTON COUNTY) – A 31-year-old motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after he crashed in a rollover accident north of Potosi this afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at the intersection of MO-21 and Miller Rd, about 3 miles north of Potosi, just before 3:15 p.m.

The victim, 31-year-old Potosi man Jeremy R. Coleman, was operating a 2013 Honda CBR motorcycle when he went off the right side of MO-21. The motorcycle then rolled over an unspecified number of times, ejecting Coleman from the vehicle.

Coleman, who was reportedly wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was taken to Mercy South for the treatment of serious injuries.

No other injuries were reported in the collision.

The motorcycle was deemed a total loss.
