30-year-old woman hospitalized after crashing into transformer box

WASHINGTON, MO (FRANKLIN COUNTY) – A 30-year-old woman was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash on Route A in Franklin County late last night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred on southbound Route A, near Pottery Road, at 10:58 p.m.

30-year-old Union resident Courtney N. Seale, driving a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville, went off the left side of Route A, where she then collided with an electrical transformer box.

Seale, the only victim of the crash, was taken to the hospital in Washington for the treatment of minor injuries.

She was wearing her seatbelt when the accident occurred.
