STE. GENEVIEVE CO., MO – Three people were injured yesterday when their vehicles collided head-on Highway Y west of Bloomsdale, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
The collision occurred west of the intersection with Dietzfelbinger Drive shortly before 10:50 a.m., when an eastbound GMC Sierra crossed into the westbound lanes and hit a 2016 Dodge Charger.
Both drivers received moderate injuries, while a passenger in the Sierra was less seriously hurt. The occupants of the Sierra were taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson, and the driver of the Charger was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
It is unclear whether any charges will be filed.
