26-year-old man dead after being ejected during crash on Lakewood Trl

TROY, MO (LINCOLN COUNTY) – A 26-year-old man died after being ejected during a rollover crash on Lakewood Trail in Lincoln County this afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at 99 Lakewood Trail near Creech School Road at 4:56 p.m., as 26-year-old Troy resident Andrew E. Lake was operating a 2021 Can-Am Defender southbound on a gravel road.

Lake lost control of the Defender, which then overturned. He was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:24 p.m.

No other people were reported as injured in the crash.
