26-year-old killed, 2 people injured in Castle Point head-on accident

CASTLE POINT, MO – A 26-year-old man was killed, and two other men were injured during a head-on crash on Highway 367 in Castle Point early yesterday morning.

According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on southbound Highway 367, near Chambers Road, at 12:40 a.m.

The driver of a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon, 25-year-old St. Louis man Caleb A. Crockett, went over the center line and collided head-on with a 2014 Infiniti Q50S being driven by 26-year-old Xavier G. Hunt, of Florissant.

Hunt was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:07 a.m.

Crockett and a passenger in the Infiniti, 28-year-old Florissant resident Johnathan M. Jenkins, were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.

All three men were wearing their seatbelts in the crash.
