24-year-old woman speeding on Missouri 79 crashes, sustains injuries

CLARKSVILLE, MO – 24-year-old Olivia Brown crashed into a utility pole after traveling too fast for road conditions on northbound Missouri 79 on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Brown was traveling north on Missouri 79 south of Pike County Road 219 in a 2004 Toyota Sequoia at speeds too fast for the current road conditions. She traveled off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole.

Brown was transported to Mercy Hospital Lincoln for minor injuries.
