24-year-old woman injured after vehicle crashes into guardrail on I-70

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – A 24-year-old woman was injured after she crashed into a guardrail on westbound I-70 on Monday morning.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Samantha D. Rogers, of O’Fallon, was traveling westbound on I-70 west of Mid Rivers Mall Drive when she lost control of her 2013 Dodge Avenger. The Dodge traveled off the left side of the interstate and hit a guardrail around 7:35 a.m.

O’Fallon was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital Lake St. Louis for minor injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt.

The Dodge was totaled.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
