24-year-old pedestrian seriously injured in hit-and-run crash

ST. LOUIS, MO – A 24-year-old woman was hit by a hit-and-run driver and seriously injured in the 4400 block of Manchester Avenue on Saturday evening.

According to KMOV4 News, the crash occurred when an unknown vehicle hit Destiny Frey as she crossed Manchester Avenue around 7 p.m.

Police report the impact sent her nearly 25 feet in the air, and she was transported to a local hospital.

Investigations into the cause of the crash and the other vehicle are ongoing. Police describe the vehicle as potentially a tan or silver four-door sedan , and the driver’s side headlight is out.
