22-year-old man seriously hurt in US-61 rollover crash

WENTZVILLE, MO (ST. CHARLES COUNTY) – A young man was seriously injured in a rollover accident early yesterday in St. Charles County, according to a crash report published by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at 1:15 a.m. on northbound U.S. Highway 61, near Silvercote Drive when 22-year-old Joseph M. Schubert, of Foristell, was driving at a high rate of speed. His 2006 Chevrolet Silverado then ran off the side of the road and collided with an embankment.

The vehicle rolled over, ejecting Schubert, and seriously injuring him. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The Chevrolet was totaled in the accident.
