22-year-old man dead after being ejected in early-morning Warren Co. crash

WRIGHT CITY, MO (WARREN COUNTY) – A 22-year-old man was killed after being ejected during a collision in Warren County early this morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The accident happened northeast of Wright City on Bell Road, near Poor Boy Ranch Road, at about 3 a.m., when 22-year-old Troy resident Jacob R. Pietzman, operating a 2016 Ford F-250, was unable to properly round a curve in the roadway.

The F-250 went off the left side of the roadway and went into a grass ditch. The vehicle overturned, causing Pietzman, who was reportedly not wearing his seatbelt, to be ejected from the vehicle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:06 a.m.

No other people were injured in the collision.
