21-year-old Jefferson City driver injured in Cole County crash

COLE COUNTY, MO – A 21-year-old Jefferson City driver was injured in a crash at 5403 Bagnall Drive on Thursday morning.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Mariah M. Houston was traveling east on Bagnall Drive when she traveled off the right side of the road and hit a parked 2004 Toyota Camry. The accident happened around 7 a.m.

Houston fled the scene, but was later seen at SSM Health St. Mary’s for minor injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damages.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
