21-year-old driver seriously injured in three-vehicle crash

AUGUSTA, MO – A 21-year-old St. Peters driver was seriously injured in a three-vehicle accident on eastbound Missouri 94 on Sunday night.

Brandon R. Sweblund, 36, was traveling west on Missouri 94 in a 2007 Toyota Sequoia when he attempted a left turn in front of an eastbound 2006 Yamaha FZ6S, police report. The front of the motorcycle hit the rear of the Toyota. Police report debris from the crash hit a third vehicle, a 1999 Honda Accord that was traveling behind the Toyota on Missouri 94. The accident happened at Klondike Park around 6:20 p.m.

Joshua S. Hoff was ejected from the motorcycle. He was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis.

All drivers were wearing seat belts.

The motorcycle was totaled, the Toyota sustained moderate damages, and the Honda sustained minor damages.
