21-year-old driver seriously injured in Gasconade County crash

OWENSVILLE, MO – 21-year-old Alexa Viehmann was airlifted to a St. Louis hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a crash on southbound Missouri 19 on Tuesday afternoon.

According to 13KRCG News, Viehmann was traveling southbound on Missouri 19 when she traveled off the left side of the road. She over-corrected, then traveled off the right side of the road where her vehicle overturned. The accident occurred around 1:25 p.m. just south of the southern Schaefferkoetter Road junction.

It is unclear what caused Viehmann to travel off the road.
