20-year-old woman injured after vehicle cuts around her at stop sign

HIGH RIDGE, MO – A 20-year-old woman sustained injuries after a reckless driver cut around her while she was stopped at a stop sign on eastbound Highway PP.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, Nikki H. Eaton, 20, was stopped at the light at Highway PP and Old Little Antire Road in her 2013 Chevrolet Volt around 1:25 p.m on Monday afternoon. A 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 24-year-old Samuel S. Loeffler, went around the Chevrolet. When Eaton went to turn left onto Old Little Antire Road she struck the Chevrolet.
Eaton was transported to St. Claire Hospital for minor injuries.
Both drivers were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
Both vehicles sustained minor damages.
