20 People left without a home after St. Louis apartment fire

ST. LOUIS, MO – Fire officials in St. Louis are investigating the cause of an apartment fire that left 20 people looking for a new place to live Friday morning.

According to KSDK, fire officials responded to the Les Chateaux Apartments within the 100 block of 14th Street at about 5:30 a.m.

Crews were able to quickly evacuate the building before flames took over and caused the building to burn and begin to crumble.

No injuries were immediately reported as a result of the fire. However, the situation is still under investigation.
