2-year-old and 2 adults injured in rear-end crash on Hwy 47 in Lincoln Co.

LINCOLN COUNTY, MO – Three people, including a 2-year-old girl, were injured in a rear-end collision on Highway 47 in Lincoln County last night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred on MO-47, near Route W, at 9:28 p.m., when a 2012 Chevrolet Captiva, driven by 25-year-old Troy woman Sage C. Ballweg, crashed into the back of a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze that was stopped in traffic.

Ballweg and her passenger, a 2-year-old girl also from Troy, sustained minor injuries in the accident.

The driver of the Cruze, 35-year-old Winfield resident Chad M. Riebel, also suffered minor wounds.
