CADET, MO – A woman suffered minor injuries following an accident involving a school bus at Cannon Mine Rd on Monday afternoon, according to MSHP.
Police say the school bus driver was westbound on Cannon Mile Road when she tried to make a left turn onto southbound Missouri 21 and struck a GMC Envoy, driven by Mark M Sarah, 56.
Sarah swerved to the left in a failed attempt at avoiding the bus and struck its right front side. The bus went off the road and down an embankment.
First responders were dispatched to the scene around 12:53 p.m. They hospitalized Sara with minor injuries at Washington County Memorial Hospital. No one on the bus was reportedly injured in the crash.
