2-vehicle collision at US 67 and Flucom Rd injures 2

DE SOTO, MO – Two people were injured following a multi-vehicle collision on US 67 and Flucom Rd, MSHP reports.

Derek J Heaston, 28, was behind the wheel of a  Hyundai Elantra heading north on U.S. 67 as Teresa A Robertson was traveling south in a Toyota Rav 4.

Troopers believe Heaston pulled in front of Robertson, causing the two vehicles to collide.

Emergency crews arrived on the scene around 7 p.m. They took both individuals to Mercy South Hospital. Heaston sufferred serious injuries in the crash, and Robertson sufferred moderate injuries.
