ANACONDA, MO – Two women were rushed to the hospital this morning following a collision at an intersection in unincorporated Franklin County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
The collision happened before 9:12 a.m. yesterday, when the driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee made a left turn from Anaconda Road onto the I-44 service road without yielding to an oncoming Chevrolet Malibu. The force of the collision caused both vehicles to leave the roadway and overturn.
Both drivers were taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis with serious injuries. Their current conditions are not known.
