ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – Two people were injured, one of them seriously so, in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 61 in St. Charles County on Thursday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened northwest of Flint Hill on northbound U.S. 61, south of Dietrich Road, at 8 p.m., when 30-year-old Silex man Nicholas E. Hagedorn, operating a 2008 Pontiac G8, lost control of his vehicle. The car went off the left side of the roadway, then flipped over.

A passenger in the Pontiac, 24-year-old Silex woman Cristen N. Sipes, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

Hagedorn was brought in for the treatment of minor wounds.

Neither of the two was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash, which totaled the vehicle.
